History

The Nordic Group history began in 1995 with the establishment of the Nordic Drugs Marketing and Sales company in Sweden. The Nordic Drugs organisation then rapidly spread into other Scandinavian countries. Today, Nordic Drugs has a strong marketing presence in the four largest Scandinavian markets.

Over the following years, the Nordic Group expanded its range of activities and geographical reach by incorporating various pharmaceutical service companies in Sweden, the Netherlands and in the Czech Republic. At present, the Nordic Group is providing an extensive array of manufacturing, regulatory, clinical and industrial product supply services to pharmaceutical companies throughout Europe. Speciality pharmaceuticals developed and/or manufactured in the Nordic Group are now being marketed and distributed worldwide, including in the USA, Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The Nordic Group is committed to building a European-wide Marketing and Sales organisation. Since 2002, the Nordic Group has been gradually establishing Marketing and Sales entities in the various countries in Europe. These affiliates operate under the name Nordic Pharma.

To continue strengthening its activities and services, the Nordic Group is in the process of creating a new laboratory for product development in India - Indeus Life Sciences will become fully operational in 2009.
