Management Team

Drs. Schram has a Chemistry degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands and over twenty years of experience in the global Pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to joining Nordic, he spent 18 years at Ferring, where he was a member of the Executive Management team.
Prior to Ferring, he was at Ciba Geigy and at Pierre Fabre Laboratories.
Drs. Schram joined the Nordic Group as the CEO and Managing Director in 2002.

Dr. Altaba has an engineering degree in Agronomy, a PhD in Biotechnology and a postgraduate degree in Management from the ESCP-EAP business school. For over 10 years, he had responsibilities in R&D and Industrial Affairs in RPR, and in Business Development within Aventis and Sanofi Aventis. In his last assignment at Sanofi Aventis, he was in charge of Corporate Business Development for the Oncology franchise. Dr. Altaba joined the Nordic Group in August 2006.

After an early career in research, Ms. Phelps moved to the Pharmaceutical industry in mid-80’s. Following a successful time in sales, she moved to Global Marketing, where she was responsible for a number of product ranges including the launch of a new chemical entity in Obstetrics. Ms. Phelps has experience in a wide range of therapy areas, including Cardiovascular, Mental health, Endocrinology, Critical Care, Haematology and Obstetrics.
Ms. Phelps is responsible for establishing and running the Nordic UK affiliate as of mid-2002.

Dr Rebours-Mory is a Pharmaceutical doctor from the University of Lyon. She started her career in the late 80’s and has since developed her skills in Sales, Marketing, Operational Clinical Development, European Project Management, International Business Development, and General Management in fully integrated Pharmaceutical companies. She also has experience in several therapeutic areas, including Neurology, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Gynaecology, Gastroenterology, Critical Care and Rheumatology. Dr. Rebours-Mory joined the Nordic Group in 2002 to create and develop Nordic’s French affiliate.

Dr. Lützenkirchen has a background in Chemistry and Biology with a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Freiburg/Brsg.
He started his marketing-based career as a Product Manager with Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz. He then held various positions of increasing responsibility in Marketing and General Management with Pharmacia and Searle, Antisense Pharma, and Brand Institute Germany. His most recent position in the pharmaceutical industry was as Managing Director of the German affiliate of Biogen Idec GmbH.
Dr. Lützenkirchen joined Nordic Group on July 1^st, 2008 as the General Manager of Nordic’s German affiliate.

Dr. Stivinova graduated as a medical doctor. She began working in the pharmaceutical industry over 15 years ago, when she joined Glaxo as sales representative.
Dr. Stivinova then spent nearly 10 years in Ferring both as a Product Manager and as a Marketing & Sales Manager in the Czech Republic. She eventually became an International Project Specialist in Ferring in Copenhagen and later the Marketing & Sales Manager for Central and Eastern Europe (based in Vienna).
Dr. Stivinova joined the Nordic Group in 2003 to manage the challenging job of General Manager, Nordic Pharma Czech Republic, as well as to oversee all Marketing and Sales activities there and in the rest of Central and Eastern Europe.

Mr. Löfgren has a double qualification as a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and as an MBA. Mr. Löfgren is also a trained Army Officer with the rank of Captain.
Mr. Löfgren counts an impressive 18 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry in various well-known companies (Ciba-Geigy, Searle, Ferring). He has broad Marketing experience both in Scandinavia and in the rest of Europe.
Mr. Löfgren was one of the first to join the Nordic Group of companies, back in 1996.

Dr. Sterkman studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam. After he graduated as a medical doctor, he joined the Pharmaceutical Industry, where he held various positions in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Project Management and finally General Management.
Dr. Sterkman has worked for companies in the Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry (Pharmacia and Bayer), the Biotech Industry (IsoTis) and the CRO Industry (Kendle). He established impressive growth at some of these companies and successfully completed funding rounds and an Initial Public Offering (IsoTis).
Dr. Sterkman joined the Nordic Group through Disphar in January 2005.

Mr. Stokholm has a technical background in chemical engineering and holds an MSc. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in Novo Nordisk in Denmark and has since held various leading positions within Supply Chain and Operations as well as Project Management.
His last assignment was establishing a pharmaceutical facility for Alpharma in Taizhou, China, where he held the position as Managing Director. The facility was built, the organisation established and developed and the site is today in operation and approved by FDA.
Mr. Stokholm joined QPharma, and the Nordic Group, in January 2009.

Dr. Petr Janda is a medical doctor who graduated with specialisations in Internal Medicine and Nephrology from Charles Univesity in Prague, Czech Republic. He has over 16 years of experience in clinical studies, in particular within Ciba Geigy and Ferring. In the past, he was responsible for worldwide clinical activities from phase I – IV, as well as registration and pharmacovigilance activities.
Dr. Janda has been Managing Director of Prague Clinical Services since 2004 and under his guidance Prague Clinical Services has grown into one of the most prominent independent CROs in Central & Eastern Europe. Moreover, Dr. Janda is the President of ACRO-CZ (the Czech CRO Association) and a management team member of EUCROF (the European CRO Federation).
